00:02A conducting connection, whether intentional or accidental by which an electric circuit or a
00:09high ground connection can be made in less than three minutes.
00:12Burnie also offers a full line of exit, approx 15 seconds before opening the
00:21or a bus for short is a term we use for a main bar or conductor carrying an electrical current.
00:27High ground compression connectors can be easily inspected visually and dimensionally
00:33inclusive results. Either mechanical type or compression
00:36connectors from the cod surface.
00:45Don't let a connector challenge hold up your project with Bernie.
00:49We can all keep moving forward.
00:52Burnie bright assemblies are used when a standard conductor is not flexible enough to
00:56serve as a ground conductor or in a full power application.
01:01As one of our signature products. Burnie offers bra assemblies and economical and
01:06efficient means of protecting electrical equipment from the potentially harmful effects
01:10of shock and vibration and movement of components.
01:15Misalignment may occur during the surface life of electrical equipment and machinery and
01:20seasonal movement of outdoor equipment.
01:24In addition, braid absorbs shock and vibration of operating equipment by providing flexible
01:30current carrying loads between moving parts of heavy machinery and equipment to help you
01:35better understand the limitless possibilities of our braid assemblies.
01:39One of our burnie product engineers will be happy to assist you.
01:43Hi, I'm Logan Tremble Bendy product engineer and I'm here to talk to you about flexible
01:49copper breed. This is a very unique product that serves an
01:52incredible variety of applications across numerous industries.
01:56Let's begin by talking about what makes great assemblies unique due to its very fine
02:02stranding. Great has the ability to bend in ways that most
02:06conductors cannot. For example, here is a piece of standard copper
02:09code conducting and here is an A
02:16WG equivalent piece of brick.
02:21As you can see, the brade has the ability to change its shape much more easily than the
02:27copper coat conductor.
02:28Although industry has many common hardware whole patterns,
02:32not everyone follows these conventions for a number of reasons.
02:35Braid and Ferrell can be customized to meet nearly any custom mounting configuration.
02:41Aside from Ferrell, smaller gauge grades can also be fitted with terminals for a less robust
02:46but more cost effective approaching grade.
02:49These are ideal for simple bonding applications.
02:53Many customers require braids to meet high AM applications to meet this.
02:58We take our standard size braids and press them together in parallel to accommodate a higher
03:03AMPAC. This could be seen with our B two G braid
03:07assembly with two braid straps in our B four G assembly with four straps,
03:13brandy also has the capabilities of producing multiple feral configurations with multiple
03:19braid straps or ropes for specialized mounting applications to make your braid more
03:25robust. Bernie offers a number of possible solutions.
03:28Several plating options are available to protect your braid in various environments
03:32including silver nickel or tin plating.
03:35These are applied to the feral contact surfaces to prevent corrosive effects,
03:41to protect the braid stranding burnie also offers a number of insulation options.
03:46This may be desirable to cover this type of conductor in an area where personnel may be
03:50working no matter the application. Bernie has a braid for you.
03:56Our in house design teams have built one of the most widely used and reliable product lines
04:00available with our USA based engineers. Bernie can provide design assistance and
04:06intricate customization in a fraction of the time.
04:08Our comprehensive manufacturing capabilities, Burnie has made significant investments to
04:15ensure our manufacturing facilities are state of the art.
04:18As an example of our dedication to innovation, our manufacturing process ensures high quality
04:24and long term liability.
04:27As a vital part of Burnie research and development.
04:30Our in-house testing lab provides mechanical electrical metallurgical and environmental
04:35benchmarks for standard and customized tools and connectors.
04:39This helps ensure our braids are UL listed CS A certified and Rohs compliant.
04:46While Bernie has a myriad of standardized braid to suit almost any application,
04:51our engineers are ready to design a non-standard application request for your needs,
04:56contact your local burnie sales representative to explore your options using the following
05:02relevant information.
05:03One AMPAC and wire size American wire gauge equivalent.
05:11Two the braid l mounting, hardware distance
05:20three termination requirements and whole pattern.
05:24The mounting hardware size and space restrictions and finally plating or insulation
05:31with silver, nickel and tin and heat shrink and color requirements.
05:38So whether it's standard applications or custom solutions, Bernie can help you get the job done.
05:43Bernie connecting power to your world.
