00:02This video details how to terminate. Hubble's plugs with co Burlock termination.

00:07All co burlock termination plugs come with a jack body and a wire manager.

00:11The only tools needed to complete the termination are a cable jacket,

00:15stripper and flush wire cutters.

00:17Let's get started.

00:18The first step is to feed the cable through the wire, not then strip the cable jacket by

00:23scoring the outer inch of the jacket about 1 to 2 inches from the end,

00:27making sure not to damage the conductors. Once the outer jacket is removed,

00:32fan wires out and remove any non conductive elements such as centers,

00:35splines, rip cord and the next shielding.

00:40Now that the inner wires are exposed, rotate the wire manager to match the label colors to

00:45the wire colors.

00:56Minimize crossing of pairs, only one pair should need to cross another

01:07bend the wire pairs over and untwist slightly so they can be pulled into their designated

01:11grooves, lock wires into place by pulling down on the free ends and the cable jacket.

01:22During this step, make sure the center spacer is at the bottom of the wire manager away from

01:27the termination plane.

01:28This helps with lacing by providing room for your thumb and ensures nothing will impede the

01:33wire manager from mating with the plug contacts.

01:41Next, use flush cutters to cut the wires flush to the sides of the wire manager.

01:56Then open the cover lock and orient the wire manager to the plug body.

02:04Close the cover lock until the locking tabs snap into place.

02:08Securing the termination physically, confirm the cover lock is engaged by trying to separate

02:13the back halves. Lastly, tighten the wire nut to provide

02:16additional strain relief.

02:18If needed, you can easily re terminate up to 25 times when finished.
