00:10Hi, Christian Kinder here with another Hubble. How to today.
00:13I'm going to show you how to use R new line of sta boxes.
00:17The sta series of boxes incorporates our unique stait cable connector built right into the box.
00:23The connector is designed to allow the cable to be easily assembled to the box without tools
00:28and provide a solid electro mechanical connection.
00:31Each box provides a quick and cost effective way of connecting many styles of flexible
00:36armored cable to a box to use a stab it box. First remove one of the pear shaped pry outs.
00:42Second with the cable already stripped, run the loose wires through the open pry out and into
00:47the box. Lastly, just push the cable into the connector
00:51until you feel it lock into place. In the event.
00:54You need to back the cable out, simply back out the retaining screw to remove the stait
00:58connector, the two piece design will come apart and you will be able to remove the inner spring
01:04from the cable. You can then press the inner spring back into
01:08the housing and assemble the connector back into the box.
01:13In this side. By side comparison, you can see that the pry
01:16outs available with stait are faster to remove the knockouts,
01:20especially when mud rings are already installed.
01:23The pre installed stait connector eliminates the extra labor and materials associated with
01:28traditional connectors. In fact, each cable terminated in a stait box
01:33is at least three times faster, increasing productivity and lowering install cost on the
01:39job site. And in the prefab shop, rao series of stabbed
01:44boxes are available in seven different four inch square box designs and three switch box
01:49designs to accommodate a variety of applications.
01:53The four inch square stabbed boxes are all two and an eight inch deep and available with one
01:58or two stait connectors.
02:00Each stabbed connector accepts two cables in sizes.
02:0314 2 up to 10 3 for most cable types, eliminating the need to carry the numerous size
02:09and types of traditional connectors.
02:11The four inch square stait boxes are also available with Reo's popular H and M series
02:16stud mounting brackets, universal far side supports and now our patented cable management
02:21clip that provides the first means of support for the cable.
02:25All of these unique built in features help to achieve even lower installation costs.
02:30The switch boxes are all 2.5 inch deep gable and available for new and old work applications.
02:37All stait boxes include a pre installed grounding pigtail and are UL listed
02:44for more information on these and other fine Rico products.
